Michael Holmes founded Wield Well-Being after years of collegiate and professional experience as an athletic trainer, including stints with the NFL's Denver Broncos and United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee. He currently serves as an Athletic Trainer for the USA Goalball Team through Turnstone based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Alongside his clinical work, Michael is active in academic research across a variety of well-being topics with numerous peer-reviewed publications. His dedication to supporting small businesses and nonprofits is rooted in his desire to make high level health and wellness care accessible to everyday people like you. During his free time, Michael enjoys being active outdoors, traveling, playing with his two Golden Retrievers, and giving back to his community through medical coverage for adaptive sports.

Mike Belbis is a dedicated researcher in the field of cardiovascular and skeletal muscle physiology, oxygen transport, exercise physiology, and ergogenic aids. He has authored or co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and shares his expertise through speaking engagements across the United States. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Aurora University (Aurora, IL), Mike leads the Aurora University Exercise Science Research Lab as its Principal Investigator. In addition to his research endeavors, he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on exercise physiology, strength and conditioning, and health and wellness and serves on several University committees. Outside of academia, Mike worked in the sports performance and health and wellness field as a strength and conditioning coach and fitness trainer, respectively. Mike is extremely passionate about exercise science and strives to help people live a healthier and happier life through physical activity and exercise. During his free time, Mike enjoys working out, playing sports, walking his Golden Retriever, and reading books.

Suzi Karamacoski is an aspiring Registered Dietitian currently pursuing an M.S. in Dietetics at Purdue University. With a robust educational foundation and diverse practical experiences in nutrition and dietetics, Suzi has specialized in creating individualized dietary plans, particularly focusing on managing and overcoming eating disorders. Her nutrition philosophy centers on the belief that balance is key to wellness and personal well-being, guiding her approach to developing diet plans that are both effective and sustainable. Committed to her professional development and community wellness, Suzi is dedicated to translating complex dietary concepts into actionable, client-friendly strategies that promote healthy, balanced lifestyles. During her free time, Suzi enjoys traveling, cooking for friends and family, and being outdoors.

Eliana Mason is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who earned her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University. Her academic foundation also includes a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Community Health from Portland State University.
Since 2022, Eliana has been a valued member of the mental health team at Turnstone Center for Children and Adults with Disabilities. She is deeply committed to providing inclusive and accessible mental health services, recognizing that individuals with disabilities may face additional barriers to care. Eliana works with clients of all ages, addressing a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, grief, and life transitions.
Eliana's practice is grounded in a strengths-based, person-centered approach. She empowers her clients to develop resilience, facilitate personal growth, and cultivate a greater sense of well-being. By utilizing evidence-based strategies and techniques, she creates a safe and supportive therapeutic space where clients feel understood and empowered to achieve their therapeutic goals. Through this practice, she earned recognition as the 2023 Fort Wayne Mental Health Counselor of the year.
Outside of her professional life, Eliana enjoys staying active, going on hikes with her dog, and traveling with her fiancé. She is a current member of the USA National Goalball team and a 2x Paralympic medalist.

Rachel Tauber is a physical therapist and is currently doing an orthopedic physical therapy residency in Oregon. She completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy at Ohio State University where she did rotations in an outpatient orthopedic (workers compensation) clinic, cash-based sports and orthopedic setting, and with THE Ohio State University's football team (Go Bucks!). Before becoming a physical therapist, Rachel taught strength and conditioning and exercise science courses at Northern Illinois University and Aurora University. She enjoyed teaching students how to correctly perform exercises and notice technique errors. Even though Rachel is now a physical therapist, she consistently incorporates her strength and conditioning background into her treatments. Rachel's treatment philosophy is treating the whole person rather than pigeonholing into a specific joint. Her passion lies with working with recreational athletes, but she enjoys the breadth of various patient populations. Outside of work, Rachel enjoys hiking, traveling, Olympic weightlifting, and hanging out with her cat, Atlas.

Ryan Ross has served as the Director of Physical Therapy for the Clemson Athletic Department since 2021. His primary role at Clemson is to provide rehabilitation services for student-athletes who are recovering from long-term injuries.
Ryan is certified as a corrective exercise specialist from NASM and a certified strength and conditioning specialist from NSCA. His research article titled “Return-to-Play Considerations After COVID-19 Infection in Elite Athletes” was published in the Journal of Athletic Training in 2021.
Prior to working at Clemson, Ryan served as Assistant Director of Rehabilitation and Return-to-Play Specialist at Baylor University from 2018-2021. His primary role was to coordinate long-term rehabilitation and re-integration into sport participation for football athletes. Prior to working at Baylor, Ryan served as a seasonal intern with the Denver Broncos from 2016-2018 and a summer intern in 2015. Additionally, he worked as a staff Physical Therapist at Chattanooga Physical Therapy and Erlanger Hospital from 2012-2016.
Ryan is a native of Jackson, TN. In his free time he likes to cook, travel, and try new restaurants!
